Baptist Different?
In these modern times we have seen some disturbing trends toward the denial of the Word of God as the Aboslute Truth. Many are seeking to be politically correct instead of being Biblically correct. Many are seeking to tell people only what they want to hear - denying the authority of the Bible and questioning its truth.
We at Calvary believe that truth never changes and that only the truth will set you free! The Bible commands the preacher to preach thewhole counsel of God. Man is to live "by every word of God..."
Our church is an old-fashioned, Independent Baptist church that stands firm upon the Word of God. The doctrines that we teach are completely rooted in the Word of God. We make no apology for preaching what God has said.
There are more than 15,000 independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 Independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.
Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church!
